I will be having some exhaust work done on my car. I've researched all the benefits of adding H or X exhaust to your car. And of course, the differences between the two

But as a early A-body owner, specifically a 1966 Barracuda. Will it fit? That is the real battle

What is everybody else running and where was it placed?

And of course, pictures always a plus

I think I read in the direct connection racing manual about 30 years ago that the exhaust could be spray painted, where it stops burning off is where the cross goes. I could be wrong, or crazy.

On my 66 Wagon I did an x-pipe right under the slip yolk. Its all 2.25" and running Jones brand magnaflow rip offs. Less noise than my catless neon at idle but makes plenty of noise at WOT. Good gains down low for me coming from manifolds and 3" single.

I remember reading that as the way to figure out where to put a 'crossover pipe' on your dual exhaust way back when...but probably in Hot Rod magazine.

I have tried to preach this for years to deaf ears.
