Would Like More Info on Blue Print Crate Motors

I've been looking into an engine upgrade, and I've been looking at a lot of different options.

I was looking at the 408 Blue Print Crate Engines, but there's not much detailed information about some of the components.

If you have purchased, own, owned, or know someone that has and you can tell us what comes on on it please post what you know?

Their are 2 different types:

375 HP with Iron "Magnum heads".

445 HP with aluminum heads.

They come in bare long blocks and and a dressed version (intake, carb, and dist.)

Some of the Things I would like to know:

What type of heads are used: stock magnum's, Upgraded EQ's, Eddy's?

What type of rockers arms: Magnums, shaft, stock, aftermarket (what brand and type)?

What type of oil pan: stock, aftermarket (what brand and type)?

What type valve cover: stock, aftermarket (what brand and type)?

What type of intake (what brand and type)?

What type of carburetor (what brand and type)?

What was needed to do the install?

How was the drivability?

I have read a lot of threads on many different forums, and I usually have to read through several post and or pages before I get any answer. Sometimes the thread gets so side tracked that the question never gets answered! So please keep this thread strictly factual so that we can have all the information here for everyone to see, and only post what you know, not what you think you know.

**PLEASE THIS THREAD IS FOR COMPONENT INFORMATION ONLY, SO PLEASE DON'T CLUTTER IT WITH OPINIONS!!! Lets leave them for another thread! THANKS:)**
I have the blueprint 375hp engine in my 67 belvedere non dressed. It uses magnum heads edelbrock air gap intake kevko oil pan and came with mopar performance valve covers. It currently has a demon 750 at some point I'd like to fuel inject it. The drivability is great lots of torque idle sounds great. For the instal just needed basic parts to finish off the motor like water pump distributor plugs wires. I think it's a good engine for the value. I bought the engine in 2008 from jegs, could be alittle different now for valve covers etc. Dustin
