Actual compression ratio with 440 with flat top replacement pistons
I have a rebuilt 440 short block that I picked up from a friend and it's got the TRW flat top replacement Pistons that are like .060 in the hole. Does anyone know what compression these are? Trying to use up all my garage finds and I came up with a 440 Torker intake, a Speedpro hydraulic cam that is 470 lift and 299 duration,
[email protected], I have a couple of sets of 906 heads and one set of 516's. I just want to stick it in an old 4 door Belvedere I have and be able to spin the tires. What's your thoughts on that cam with the lower compression ratio Pistons? Should I use a thin head gasket to try and bump the compression a little? Or just bolt it together and go?
