MUFFLERS, what should i get?

Custom craft makes a slide in the collector muffler. You can get them from jets. They are NOT cone shaped. Rather they are three discs on a common tube. They slide in the collector. They come with the 3 bolt pattern or without.

It's the only muffler I run. Light. Loud. Gnarly. And the don't kill HP.

I would say if you are using a 3 inch collector, the muffler will function better if you use the next size up, like 3.5 inch collectors. They will work with what you have, but when you are on the edge of the collector being too small, the muffler starts to hurt it.

I run 340 inches, 1 7/8 headers with a 3.5 collector. And I drive it on the street.
