Driveline is in:-)

Took my driveline to the specialty shop for modification to fit my gearvendors/8 1/4" SG drivetrain. Took the GV slip yoke and the bare driveline (spiders removed) and they rebuilt it to 35 1/2" C/C with new front tube yoke and two new HD u-joints installed and dynamically balanced as an assembled driveline. Called me before I got home (90 mile commute with car stops, dealing on a 40 ford pickup) and said it was ready. Turned around and picked it up, got home and installed it in the car! Another step out of the way. Should be a good weekend on the car-going to do the Pertronix conversion and remove the balance resistor and wire the electric choke on the carburator. Will entail re-building the entire right side engine bay harness but it will be worth it. I installed my rebuilt power steering pump and the pully had a 1/4" wobble in it so it went back to the rebuilder for warranty repair. Had to change gears to keep progress moving forward. Off to the exhaust shop soon!!!!!!!
