Edelbrock RPM vs Edelbrock Victor (again)

Interesting, the RPM surprises me, how would you describe RPM port work, deep gasket or more? Is it an old RPM or the newer Air Gap version?

I have been considering a Super Victor EFI lately due to M1 4bbl becoming extinct 6 months ago. I was doubting that the Hughes RPM AG would work well enough for 500 HP, I know it will work well up to 400-450 but was not sure on larger HP engine build.

I have installed a few Pro Flow systems which use the SV EFI and they made lots of power and torque but very curious about the Hughes on big HP.

I would have expected the results from both unported manifolds to compare like the RPM and fully worked Vic , column 1 and 4, but scaled down. I would have thought RPM would sacrifice 10-15 HP up top over Vic but gain 10-15 TQ down low around 3500.

Very interesting info. Did you do dyno work yourself?
