That all looks nice but damn that is pricey. I don't have a lot of money so to me it is any way, I am doing what I can but damn. Is there any other way to eliminate the ballast resistor?
Why do you want to eliminate the ballast resistor? Burning them up frequently is a sign of another problem. If you go cheap on replacing the ballast setup you're likely to end up trading one headache for another and staying in the same boat.
