Damsel in distress

Manual and someone from the site is coming over hopefully tomorrow to give a second opinion as I already had someone else here earlier today whow said i broke a rod.... and no I'm not putting the motor in. At this point I'm not touching it... no smug comment needed... I'm trying here. I appreciate your time to suggest further check though as I don't want to spend unnecessary money

Mollysmom64, please ask the person that is coming over to check out your car to post what (he or she) finds. No offense intended, but they may be able to better describe the condition.

There are a lot of good folks on this site that really would like to help you figure out what's going on. Your Valiant looks like it's in really decent shape and definitely worth the effort to get back on the road.

Right now members aren't sure if you need a replacement motor. It's always hard to diagnose a problem over the internet or phone (especially if there are multiple problems going on). It's best if you can get someone 'hands-on' with the car.

As always, be cautious who you invite over. 99 times out of 100 you'll be safe but there is that 1% out there.
