This guy sounds like my brother. I cant believe we came from the same parents. He has very little mechanical aptitude. But he has deep pockets, so he buys what he wants.
Yeah, I also have a guy with a NEW 79 Trans Am, That I did Road Racing Mods to. Tons of $$ and no knowledge. Now he wants to bring it back with another long list. I have somewhat of a niche around here for working on Custom/Hot Rod cars. But I really only do what I want to on em. I only do it to stay up on tech,....And for Beer and Golf Money ! LOL
