Eddie came over today and we worked on his engine. We got the heads on, then the oil pump and windage tray. He had to go as it was getting late.
Next we need to get the oil pan on and then the lifters, rockers, and push rods. I just did some calculations and CAD layouts to try to estimate the push rod length to use the 273 rocker arms on a hydraulic cam and lifter set up vs the stock solid lifter set up....
The solid lifter is blue and the hydraulic lifter is purple. I compared the two lifters, then calculated the push rod length to keep the top of the push rod at the same height as the 273 rocker arms would be...
