302 Heads Good Story
So I've been following all the threads about 318 builds and decide to kinda try to find some 302 heads for the teen in my '66 Barracuda. So I post an ad on CL looking for some 302 heads. I get a call from St. Louis and a guy there has some, but they've "rebuilt" so I don't know anything about them plus that's a long drive to pick up. Not what I want to do.
Then last night I get a message from a guy who read my ad and says there's a '86 Dodge Ram that's yellow and I bet it has what you're looking for. So I head over there this morning and wham bam thank you ma'am, what do I find, but these. Hopefully they will be rebuildable but I only paid $68 for them plus about 3 1/2 hours pulling them out. I'm hoping the tipster is on this forum and will read this.
