Getting back to my dart and fuel pump!
What's wrong with a mechanical pump? I run one on my 367 at 430plus hp with no issues. It doesn't take much to feed a NA360. If you are on a budget it makes even more sense. Save your money, plumb a 3/8 metal line, before you hit the track. The 5/16 is even enough for most streeters.Maybe get a nice Carter mechanical pump.
You don't say your power level so I'll guess about 400hp. This will require about 400 x .5 =200pounds of fuel per hour, which is 200/6 =33gph or about 120lph. This is not much of a pump requirement. And this is for full load, full throttle operation.
As a streeter you will seldom need that much for more than 2 or 3 or maybe 4 seconds atta time.
33gph is 33/(60 x 60) x 140=1.28 ounces per second, so in 4 seconds you will need 4 x 1.28 = 5.12 ounces. Most or all of that is already in the bowl before you even hit the pedal.
At the track you will need a bit more. 13 seconds would be about 16 ounces. So you will need some to come up the pipe for sure.
