If it was cheap and easy there would be a bunch of Bowtards doing it. I made my own mounts because I can. If you already have a SB that saves money because you only need a different flywheel or flexplate.
Chevy guys do the LS swap because the base price of a LS motor and the aftermarket parts are so much cheaper than for the HEMI
I'm not going to get into the HEMI vs LS debate
on a pure cost front it's a bit cheaper for the LS guys
But fuel delivery is the same need for both engines
I'm not saying a HEMI swap is "cheap" but it's cheapER than a built 408
of course the 408 will have zero miles and the HEMI have a couple dozen thousand
but who's counting, right?
