Yes, that is exactly it. I plan to replace all gaskets, but I won't be rebuilding the engine at this point. It ran well when I pulled it out of the car, but I assumed there could be some technical difficulties getting is running after sitting so long. I wanted the FiTech to have a running foundation when installed.

A: Yes. The "regular" ignition module can be swapped in place of the ready-to-run board.

these are also interchangable with the MSD 84661

There are a few big block ready-to-run pro series, pro billets, that don't have a "regular" version. this applies to them too.

Just don't confuse the names.lol which i sometimes do.
