Another member needs the help of the FABO family

Okay, I'm gonna say it because no one else is.

I am truly disappointed and saddened by the response this Benefit Auction has received so far both in terms of the number of items being donated and the bids trying to secure them. I know it's going to heat up a bit as the closing time draws near, but sniping your FABO brothers and sisters at the last minute isn't the spirit of the event. The recurrence of "minimum bids" on the list is also pretty surprising and speaks for itself.

We're all struggling in a slow economy (and it's been that way for a few years now) but Rob and Kitty have been quietly catching serious hell for a very long time. If there's one person on this board who goes above and beyond to help the board members, it's RustyRatRod. It's our turn to check through the parts stash, open the wallets and have a little Pay It Forward.

In the past decade, we as a group have helped a LOT of deserving people through the cooperative efforts of the FABO Family. I hope all of you will think hard about this before scrolling on to the next thread and take a moment to put yourself in their place. Even a few bucks adds up ............
