AIV have you figured out your overheating problem yet? If so sorry if i missed a post :)

Yes turns out air was trapped in theblock. I pulled the thermostat then refilled the coolant and water to the top of the intake. Drilled the stat housing and reinstalled it. Now all is good I stays at 175
