Dang, I don't know for sure. The system was a dealer installed Mopar system from back in 1970 and still runs on R12.

I looked at yours closely and I don't see a pressure switch. Certainly not at the drier anyway and the compressor seems to be straight wired.

This is making me a little nuts since everything I read says you need one with the modern Freon and mine has a switch installed but not wired in.
