Fuse size

Honestly I have been wondering the same thing. You should be good to fuse it to the safe ampacity of the wire. I do wonder what the fusible links are rated to blow at. In the bit of research I did, I see that a #8 gauge wire should be good for 73 amps DC and I fused mine at 50.
