Gettin' Personal

I'm finally going to start treatment. I have opted for external radiation therapy. I had changed uroligists. My previous doctor, gave me the feeling that I was always being rushed out of the office. Plus he was always about an hour late for the appointment. My new doctor has always been on time, and takes as much time with me as necessary. My first doctor kept pushing surgery, and just kind of brushed over other options. The new doctor totally discused several options. With surgery, I would have to limit my activity for 6-8 weeks, which would be difficult, due to my wifes medical issures. Since my last post, she has had a couple more hospital stays, and had a pace maker/defibulator installed. But the big problem is she has been diagnosted with mild Alzimers, and has to be supervised most of the time, to make sure she doesn't get her meds and insulin messed up. With the radiation treatmen, I just go to the Oncology clinic every day (15 miles away), for 6 to 8 weeks for a 15 minute treatment. No change in my activites. For me this seems to be the best option.
