The bolts are 5/16" coarse thread grade 5.

The 'washers/spacers' are three small and two large. The small ones go in the middle of the shaft, and on the two ends... The wider washers/spacers go on the two middle....

So from one end of the shaft, it goes; short-wide-short-wide-short....

I would replace them, as I see many of them stretched from over torque. There was an error in the service manual for many years on the torque spec of 30 ft * lb, when it should be 200 - 225 in * lb... 30 ft*lb will stretch and break the bolts.

yep yep - got that figured - what I am getting at is that I have read/heard that there are different bolts - two of the 10 for the rocker shafts are thinner to allow oil to run up and into the rocker shafts...
