after fixing my oil leak (girdle), and installing the caltrac kit, l finally got the fish back back the ground. been a hassle w/ a messed up knee from a 4 wheeler wreck. knee still swelled and has water on it. doc sucked 85cc`s of water and blood out of it twice already. but it`s getting better almost daily. gotta undo the oil mod., I did to it next, that will be under the intake tho. then a front end alignment and insurance. dang! going on 8 yrs., my outlook sure has changed a bunch , since I started this thing!----LOL

Soon you can drive it and have some dipstick walk up and ask "What year Mustang is that?"

Dang! I missed the thread where you talked about the crash with the 4-wheeler. - You may be healing up but it sounds like you're still in a world of hurt. How's the back?

doing real good, all is getting back to normal, back seems better than before. thanks for asking !

did you ever get the f.I. on the road runner lined out ?

The dang Roadrunner is still in Grand Island at the shop we took it to. Supposedly it's all but done. Each time I call I'm told that they're working on other cars, sick, or gone racing.

They did find a bad MAP sensor and a bad relay to the O2 sensor a few months ago. After that I was told they were having trouble getting the FAST software to work on their computer.

If they weren't an hour and a half away I'd be spending each day at their door. Right now I'm just playing the waiting game and focusing on other projects.

..............Glad ur getting better and ur car is mobile............kim.........
dang it ! it`s back up in the air, still have an oil leak ! recoating my driveway now, been letting it go for yrs. will get back to the fish whenever ! knee still ain`t well ! also it`s been 6 yrs instead of 8 ,(brain fart) Ive been working on the fish. "outlook has still changed tho, almost wish I kept my 406 gmc, it was done !

got her back in the air. turned out to be a girdle -windage tray problem , I think. main seal was dry on the outside. seems the main seal cap was cut down by my machinist I guess. it`s .022 shorter than the block. block was line honed but not that much ! lol . anyway I didn't catch it and fill it w/ sealer . hope this is the problem! did prelube the engine again to check my oil modification change, watched the rocker shafts and lifters oiling. lot more oil excapeing the lifters than I thot, are MRL roller too ! have the windage tray in for sale section if someone needs one.----bob
