It is obviously a little dangerous (or a lot), so technically you would need to use all the precautions and equipment associated with working with any explosive gas, say oxy acetylene for instance. would it work. Probably not for long. I built a perpetual motion machine back in eigth grade honors science for a final project. It worked pretty well but in order for it to continue I would have had to set it up at the ends of the earth which we all know doesn't exist because it is basically round.
