1969 Barracuda Dash Help

I got my repop gage bezel from i think P&G or maybe it was Laysons. granted it was for a 67. However 68-69 use the thumbwheel radio and should be the same. As far as the woodgrain goes , you can buy repop woodgrain inserts from DMT and the base model gage bezel, and add the woodgrain. The chroming used on the repops is the same chroming used on automobile grilles so its much more durable than the original vacuum metalizing that was used originally, which is what Mr Gs and others use. The aftermarket bezels dont drop right in. I had to do a little filing and fitting to make it work and fit. I'd recommend converting your ammeter gage to volts, and dewiring and rewiring your charging system output to bypass the bulkhead connector. I also used peel n stick led 5630 strip light around the perimeter my gage housing instead of bulbs for a more even backlighting effect.
