Stop in for a cup of coffee

well, I got an eye full of brake fluid - but the brakes now work. I got it backed out into the driveway only to decide I didn't like the stance - still too low for street use. Pulled it back in and adjusted the stance, front and rear - backed it back out and could hear an odd noise from the engine - belt too loose. Tightened that up... ...backed to the bottom of the driveway (actually into the street some) stuck it in 1st and stabbed the go pedal about 1/2 way - whoa hey WOW - just WOW - ...ok, whoooopieeee too.. :lol:. So, now maybe I should actually check the timing instead "ear-balling" it.. ..what the frig? The battery terminal at the back of the alt. is LOOSE - from the inside of the GDed alternator - are you F%^KING kidding me!? So much for running it once around the block. Took it off, fixed it and put it back on but that pretty much killed the day off - dinner time. ~and here we are... BUT, mission accomplished. ..the Scamp is why I took this time off. Happy Scampy.
