Finally after 9 months of cosmetic repairs and welding in new floors I finally got to take her for the first ride of the year yesterday. Still have a little ways to go with the interior but I can now say it's roadworthy. Was originally a 170 Colomn shift, bench seat car. Now it's got a heathy 69 383 with an 8 3/4, and floor shifter. Will post more pics as I complete the interior! Just wanted to say thank you to everyone out there who are also restoring their cars. You all definitely kept me motivated.

Great color and awesome stripe, what do you still have to do in the interior?

Just finished welding and seam sealing the new amd floors in. I got the new bucket seat bolted in so I can drive it. I am going to por 15 the new floors tomorrow and then once cured I have to put new sound deadening down, install new carpet. Then bolt in back seat and both front buckets. Then onto dash trim and dash pad, and install kick panels and Sil plates. Got all new window seals also but those can wait until my window guys schedule clears up.

I actually bought the car painted and the stripe was installed and cleared over. Paint isn't perfect but it's a nice driver. Only thing I had to have repainted was the hood and cop wheels

Sounds like you have all the pieces and a game plan. Only thing left is to post a video of you and some smoke!
