A body and B body will be a little different of course. Here is a series of pictures showing the tunnel mod, console fitment and shifter position. We ended up moving the console brackets back a little which will limit how far forward the seat will move. Seats are in rear most position in the pictures.

I see that you did fabricate a new upper cross-member. The design we've been kicking around is a little different because our shifter will be inline with the cross-member location on the B-body. Do you have any photos of the bottom? We haven't gotten far enough to know for sure but I think we may be able to modify the stock lower to work with our car.
