Stop in for a cup of coffee

^^^^See that right there? That's what too much beer does to you :)
LOL! No beer involved. I never drank a drop back then. No drugs either. It was just flat out weirdness.

My wife and I still talk about that place to this day. I have absolutely no explanation for what happened in that house and I'm not a paranormal kind of guy...but a haunting of some sort is about as close as I can get.

One of the weird things was that I kept seeing a black and tan tabby cat out of the corner of my eye. A few months later a neighbor told me that the previous owners had a cat matching that description that was hit by a car and killed in front of the house (They volunteered the info, I never told them what I saw). The woman who owned the cat was extremely distraught by the death of the cat and stopped coming out of the house for several months afterward. She eventually packed up and moved away without speaking to anyone.

The house was over 150 years old when we lived in it and by all accounts it had a long history of tragedy in the lives of the various owners and residents. We eventually found ourselves fighting with each other and became so stressed by what was happening in the place that the incident on the 3rd floor was the final straw. We left with 3 days notice and abandoned our security deposit to get out as fast as we could.
