Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wife just called. They are at the hospital. Apparently the donor is still alive but failing fast. It could be a few hours but they are prepping her brother to be ready when the donor passes. It's a hard thing to be happy for him to have a shot at a longer life while knowing that someone else is losing theirs to make it possible.

It's hard to comprehend another family grieving as a loved one passes while this one is waiting for the gift of one of their organs.
