shock nuts

Nobody is going to expect them to be on a car this old, however when the car was judged at the show last Sat. the judge asked me if I was going to the Nationals with it and just mentioned that the nuts on the shocks and the spring clamps was the only thing he said that was missing from what he could tell that came from the factory that I didn't have on the car. I have restored the 69 Valiant as close as I could to the way it rolled off the line. I don't know.

I hear you, but I think it's anal what people will do to chase the "factory resto" look. Date coded alternators, regulators, and starters... Many of them were replaced with daily usage, you can't expect the original factory piece to be working this far after it's been made...

Just having one that looks like the original and works is all that matters to me....

Do they expect factory air to still be in all the tires???
