Stop in for a cup of coffee

It's stuff like this that makes me very glad I have the GTS to work on. It's like therapy for me. The more insane and stressful the situation becomes, the more I'm glad to be able to distract myself with some quiet time cleaning up details, replacing screws, etc.

It's funny but things like cleaning up the washer bottle were always on my list but too time consuming to bother with for a slightly better result. But when the madness peaks, I'm happy to be able to spend a few mindless hours scrubbing and polishing it.

Today after bringing my BIL home, I refinished the kick-down linkage and added the side decal to the battery. I also replaced 3 slightly rusty hose clamps.

That engine compartment looks great! I'm a long way from from sweating tarnished hose clamps on my ride lol, but i get it. I go polish the aluminum on my bike or the wheels on my truck , and I'm a different person when I'm done.
