You are correct, water pump outlet and timing tab are different on older Mopars. Timing tab is on passenger and outlet of water pump is on drivers side. However, later model Mopar is vice versa. I put the 67 spec 318 in my 72 Duster and had to change both.
I believe pulleys are all the same as I run power steering and power disc brakes.
