360 magnum question

ok ive got a few quick questions that I will ask you guys more about later.
right now I just want to know if this is worth buying for the 68 cuda.
the seller says it is not internally balanced and will not work with an older trans.what are my options here?
this is a true roller motor which I was unaware of"thats good right"?
he claims we could get up to 450 hp with the heads that are on it now.is something like this possible?
are the motormounts in the same place as the older motors?
could I run a modern trans and forget about the internal balance of the engine?

The guy is dead wrong, it will bolt right up to 904, one converter bolt hole is off buy 1/4", just slot with die grinder.
It is a true roller which is great, factory 5.9 cam is pretty weak but regrind is $159 and you can go up to .550 lift easily. I would not put much into factory heads, they are or will crack and the 450hp would be from EQ or other aftermarket heads as the factory could be worked to 400 but they get pretty thin. EQ's are cheap . The deal with magnum heads is that they need guides cut down to safely use cam larger than about 485". The EQ's will work to .600+ with correct springs and valves.
EQ's bolted on to 5.9 short block with cam will net you 400 hp easily. PM or call me and I will tell you what you will need to swap.

Lelo Dart is correct, just make sure you dont have old 360LA converter with balance tab on it. Should have counter weight on flex plate. If you dont have flexplate, we have them.
