Prices falling on Barracudas
i keep track of barracudas for sale on various web sites and found this recently sold car on ebay. it was listed twice with the first listing only reaching $15k. the second time it did sale but for only $18k.
this seemed like a very good deal to me. the car is a very nice driver and sold with the kelsey-hays recalled wheels. a few years ago those wheels alone were worth almost $1000 apiece. it's cars like this one that make some of the crazy prices you see people asking for their cars seem particularly nutty.
here's what the seller posted about this car:
1969 Barracuda Formula S - 340 A53 Fastback. Green/Tan. Console automatic. Manual steering, Manual drum brakes. Pretty much all stock car, except for flowmaster mufflers. Little too loud for my taste. Factory recall wheels and lug nuts with redline tires. NOM, 68 340 with X heads. Motor, trans and rear rebuilt. 3.23 SG. Questions?
