67 Barracuda
1967 Barracuda fastback. Originally a 273 HP auto car, now a 360 4 speed.
Imminent job loss and relocation is going to force sale. Less than 500 miles on a rebuild.
360 was built by a machine shop school. +.040, Heads were done but I didn’t remove. Stock valvetrain. Crank was uncut but polished. Edelbrock performer intake and carb. 340 HP exhaust manifolds from the 70’s, Duals with correct stainless tips, no crossover, cheapo turbo mufflers. Herbert cam, a step over the 69 340 specs. Have the cam box with numbers. New HV pump. Mopar elec ignition with adjustable mech advance plate in distributor. HEI cap and wires. New ignition box and spare.
76 iron case OD 4 speed with complete rebuild. Both synchro sliders/hubs/brass/keys/bearings and full small parts from the Brewers kit. Over 800 invested in trans. Shifts great. Correct factory linkage on hurst box. Handle from brewers. New McLeod clutch, 440 source flywheel, and TOB.
Peg leg 8 ¾, don’t know the gears . Will cruise at 65 around 2200 rpm. I have a 3:23 clutch sure-grip chunk in great condition included in sale.
Console modified (hack) with 4 speed hole and temp mounted with screws. No brackets welded in.
Full Moog replacement parts in front end. Everything replaced. New manual gear box. Correct new pittman and Idler. Aligned by a shop. 893, 894 torsion bars, new brake lines/ master cylinder
New 15” Sbp cragar SS with new BFG’s. All right hand standard sbp studs. A great classic look.
Champion 3374 radiator with Perma-cool dual fans. Max temp around 195 in stop and go traffic. Sensor is a 180 deg for fan relay. T-stat is a 195.
Wiring re-done. New terminals on both sides of firewall. Few things needing work but haven’t looked at. (Fuel gage stopped working recently, couple of dash lights not working). Aftermarket below dash summit pod and console mounted summit tach.
Included with sale. 2 sets chrome windshield trim, 1 set of rear. Both new seals and a bag of clips. Extra rally cluster and bezel with a 67 150 mph speedometer and extra performance gauge.
This an excellent project to drive and finish. I drive it to work a couple of times a month with no problems.
Some slight rust in the passenger floor. About a dime size hole. No frame rust, undercoated. PO had quarter skin patches and front rear fender doglegs fixed, needs a little TLC. Left rear wheel well lip needs trimmed.
Taking a good bath at 10,500. No low ball offers please. Not open to trades. Have title. Located in Coatesville PA. Pictures to your email on request of anything you want to see.
