2013 mustang exhaust on 67 Barracuda

Here is an update folks. I got both my down pipes installed. The worst part was climbing under the car about 20 times to get it right. I know the welds don't look all that good but it was my first time getting a lesson on welding with oxygen/acetylene and a stainless steel coat hanger. Seemed to work OK. Trebligs, drivers side elbow was awesome because it gave me the radius to get away from the torsion bar at least 1" of clearance. Not sure if my pictures can show it that well but I have plenty of clearance from the starter, torsion bar, and shift linkage. The last part is now to connect the down pipes to the H pipe and get you guys a sound bite. I also have a A/f LC-1 that i can use later on with that O2 Bung on the passenger side bank to help get my quickfuel Carb dialed in. Pretty welds don't matter, what matters is a good seal (weld)!! The first 120 degree 340 down pipe I made for my barracuda (years ago) took quite a while because I didn't have a pattern or an example. I used a section of mandrel bent J pipe and it wasn't cheap. Once I finished the exhaust installation I thought to myself, "There's got to be other people who would also like this down pipe!!". I think I've made and sold well over 50 along with the 360 magnum down pipe. I even sold sections of the 2 1/2" mandrel bent donut to FABO members who want to experiment "snaking" the pipe around the starter and such. Glad to hear that you have plenty of clearance because I don't have a vehicle to test fit each piece as I make them but I do have a template now so they come out pretty consistent.

Your work is looking real good!! Congrats on the down pipe install!!!
