Ok.... for those still interested, here are a few more pics of something that somewhat is starting to look like a car. Hood is on, fenders are starting to get aligned and the grill is installed. Unfortunately I installed the grill the wrong way...as in, under the hood latch support not over it, so it will need to be corrected before I get to the Nationals and get told 1000 times the error of my ways. I attached a before and after picture of the hood modification so it would clear the air cleaner. I also managed to get some 1,750 degree heat shield material on the sides of the gas tank to help keep it cool. The last picture is to show one of the interesting details I covered a few years ago in this thread.. "look ma' no fender bolts". I haven't started to count all the major and minor subtle modifications but I'm sure there are several hundred..... Enjoy
