Need some advice

a couple 6.1's brought some money a while back and now everybody thinks they are worth a fortune. if you look on ebay at completed auctions. they are not selling at the higher prices. the market sets the value! they are only worth what someone is willing to pay.. hell the 6.1 complete running gears, trans wiring fuel systems etc. on a pallet are 6-7k. how did you come up with your asking price?
