1st time was prob 25 years ago. Wore contacts then - the kind you re-used for 6months or more. Cut up some peppers to make chili earlier in the day. Cleaned my contacts (rub/rinse) and put them in case for the night. Next morning, pop the contacts in and was like :wtf::mad::BangHead:
This time with the Habaneros, it was maybe an hour after touching them and I rubbed near my eye and felt it start to burn. just washed the area and rinsed my eye with saline, was cleared pretty quick. I think if I actually touched my eye with them it would have been a trip to the ER.
