Stop in for a cup of coffee

I note the beer stacked up behind the bike in the pic. Beer does indeed increase the riskiness of 2 wheels. Me, I don't ride like I used to, and in-between my Triumph 650 Tiger and the XS1100 I stayed off street bikes for nearly 20 years. I did not stay off motocross bikes though. Nice thing about those is ya' still fall down but after ya' do the school bus doesn't hit ya'. And it's surprising how much of what ya' learn dodgin' trees and navigatin' mud on a 300 lb bike comes into play and helps ya' avoid catastrophe when navigatin' a 750 lb bike in traffic. When I got the XS1100 it had a fairing and hard bags, a feature of which, added by the previous owner, was petcocks on the bottoms of the bags so ya' didn't have to bail the water out after the beer was gone and the ice was melted. Wow it was like, 1998 I searched the universe and got what I was sure was the last 4 NOS rubber intake boots for mine. Can't believe stuff is still out there.
The internet makes the world a lot smaller. Just gets pretty pricey. I found a bike salvage yard here locally. The owner was a real dick and was proud of his stuff (he had to make a living tho). Never failed to have anything i needed..
