Roller Lifters

Hi,
I´m going to use these lifters with a Roller Crane 290 in my Nostalgia Race Hemi Build.
Not installed yet, but my concern is the bar tend to stick. I was thinking of smoothen edges of, or is this not gonna be a problem when assembled, lubricated and pressure from valve springs are applied...
What do you say? Was it ever a problem with these, what I believe early type of roller lifters. I have no experience using them.
Car will only see Nostalgia Races and Exhibition Runs.
Advise is appreciated.
