One of the dalmatians that we had as a kid was a great catcher...
She would track a fly for 5-10 minutes, then jump up to 4 feet off the ground and catch it and eat it... She was good...
Once when I was 5, mom was buttoning the hood on my winter coat and it popped off in front of the Dalmatian. She caught it and immediately swallowed it before it could hit the ground...
She was a great fence jumper, she could climb over an 8 foot chain link fence...
The one that I have now is a pretty good catcher... He only misses once in a while...
