Is there a specific intake that goes with 915 heads?

The 915 heads I have come across came on 67
engines only. They are special in that respect. Not as common as the open chamber heads. Their is a 516 closed chamber also but not quite as desirable as the 915. Not all 915s were magnums but could be with a exhaust valve change. They are not special like a max wedge head but I wouldn't dismiss them as common
iron big block heads. They are the factory quench head and were very popular before the aftermarket stepped in.
If the aftermarket hadn't filled the market with aluminum heads the 915's would be getting more respect. They are still sought out for use in classes
that require iron heads. I've had guys willing to pay a few hundred for cores and the 100.00 to ship them.
All other iron heads short of max wedge folks won't pay the cost of shipping to get them.
I still have a hard time dumpstering the 906s and 516s and they tend to stack up under the bench.
But have scrapped over thirty pair of the open chambered iron heads to clear up shop space at times. The 915s are the only iron head that guys
are willing to use.
