I'm sure you already got your answer by now, but as far as new gears for 741 housings, yes, 3.55 or 3.73 are the only ratios I've seen. Now sometimes you can find 3.91s on here or eBay, but those times are few and far between. I found an assembled sure grip carrier with them in the classified recently but it went pretty quick.

Yes, and I have ordered a set of 3.73 gears. I got them of here :) Some day I wish to get a 360 or a 340. It's very rare that these engines turn up for sale here in Sweden. If they do the price is always more than I can afford. But hey, never stop dreaming and maybe someday! Meanwhile I do have fun with this little 273. I'm actually faster than my friend who has a 340 in a Challenger. To be fair he's 340 doesn't seem to be tuned all that well and he's not really into power. Probably has 3.23 or 2.76 gears and stock converter.
