FABO friends introduce me to their Minnesota Nice life

I got to meet the owner of the Auburn, who has collection of rare cars housed on his property, and who graciously agreed to give us a tour the next day. Memike went to his place last year and can attest to this man's encyclopedia knowledge of the cars and artifacts he owns. St. Cloud was to be a major automobile manufacturing center; The Pan Car was built there only from 1917 to 1919, allegations of fraud led to the company's early demise. The pictures we took there give an idea of the caliber of collection, as well as showing why St. Cloud is known as The Granite City.086.JPG 028.JPG 050.JPG 077.JPG 081.JPG 084.JPG 054.JPG 078.JPGOn the wall behind this black Lincoln is the sign that was on the Pan Motor Company building. 097.JPG1953 Kaiser Dragon, only 1277 made. They called the upholstery texture "dragon skin" and the badges are gold-plated. Expensive as a Cadillac but very underpowered. 032.JPG 102.JPG 100.JPG 103.JPG
