As some of you that know me know, I have been playing musical carbs with the Dart. I always wanted an original Carter rb carb from 68 for my 367sb. Think Bullitt chase scene and the beautiful intake music from that Charger R/T. Some time ago I bought a "rebuilt" AVS 730 on here that would start but not run or idle. Called Fishy68 and asked if he would do the rebuild for me as I know he is busy. Had an Avenger, several Eddy's on it but always wanted what was a common swap in the day, the 440 unit. After telling him my build, and drinking my glass of optimism, I hoped and prayed it could be repaired. After the real rebuild and test running it on his fathers small block, and tweaking and conversing with me, it was ready to ship back to me. Wow. Now it runs great and has an original period correct antique handling the fuel. Time to sell the last few carbs! Thanks Tracy
