Wow feels like I've gone longer than a day and a half. Good timing because this morning Dad and I were having breakfast and the doctor came in and said, you're getting out of the hospital today. Right now he's having dinner at his new place, the nurse called. The meds seem to be working, he's very calm and composed, we're praying he stays that way!

It's very nice countryside on the way to south Georgia from here.

That's good news David!

My Dad has been having issues with falls lately and has been transported to the hospital after a fall 5 times in the last 10 days. He was taken on Friday and then again last night at midnight. Fortunately all he has done is given himself a few bumps and contusions, nothing serious. He insists on trucking around like he's a fully capable 20 year old and gets himself into bad situations that cause a fall. Two of these falls were from him trying to step over things on the floor instead of going around. One was a small tool box on the floor along the wall.

We can't strap him in a wheelchair or bind him to a walker, so the best we can do is hold our breath and hope he don't hurt himself before his natural ability to get around diminishes. It's either that or wrap him in bubble wrap from head to toe.
