Slant 6 Engine Swap

If the donor has a 2bbl carb, it's not original. Do not confuse the "Super 225" with the "Super Six". The "Super 225" was nothing less or more than the decal that was applied to the air cleaner of 1963-'69 225 engines installed in Plymouths (the Dodge equivalent was "Charger 225"). All of these had 1bbl carburetors. The "Super Six" was the 2bbl package offered from '77-'83 in US/Canada-market cars and trucks. If the donor engine has had the 2bbl setup swapped on, by all means use it, it's a big improvement over the 1bbl setup. In that case you'll need to use the 2bbl-type linkage setup, and you'll need a shorter accelerator cable for your car; that's this one, and you'll also want to install a № 1232 Electric choke kit.
