My German Shepard will stare me down in the morning if I'm eating cereal. He wants the milk
I made the mistake of giving our cats the milk after I was done eating. From then on they'd sit on the floor beside me and meow

Halfway through dinner Sammy comes over and sits beside me and stares at me with his "intent" stare. He knows his carrots are imminent. Now Luna does the same thing so I have 2 westies staring at me intently, willing me to give them a carrot slice. It's even worse if I'm eating a cheese stick.
We have a doggie door that our two can use anytime they want to go into the backyard.
But nooooooooooooo, they like going out into the front yard. So, when Leo the Lab wants to go out front he stands in front of me and stares until he gets what he wants.

Buddy use to sit and stare at me while I was eating. I never gave him any people food, but he never gave up hope.

All 4 of ours hover around us when we are eating. Shelby is always near me under the table....she caught on that I tend to drop stuff while I am eating...
We have a doggy door too. My bbq stuff is in the front of the house. When I am outside cooking the dogs will stand by the front door...whining...waiting for me to open the door...
Just had the hounds to the vet....they have put on a few pounds since their last visit...vet said to cut back on the food...first thing we did was to cut out the occasional bit of table food....thy act like we are killing them by not giving them anything from the table..

@Dustdevl340....one thing we do give them...our vet in AZ suggested it, our vet here in Washington agreed....sugar snap peas. They are great as treats. Ernestina often will give them a handful along with the food...

There is a bad moon on the rise.
I wasn't sure I really wanted a dog. However, I was out voted. In retaliation, I taught it to chase squirrels and rabbits...also to beg at the table. He he.
We made the mistake of giving our cats a wet food snack in the morning. Now we have alarm cats!!!!!

I have 7 so there's not much time when I'm not being watched
Sooo, how's that workin out for him???
I just came in from my 4th time out front since getting home from work at 5 pm. That's nearly once an hour. I don't mind though, it gets me up and outside!!!
