Stop in for a cup of coffee

so I was having a long discussion with a local guy I know, about my favorite topic ...MOPARS

Something came up in the conversation and I thought it interesting.

The topic of the welded washer on the 340 K - frame came up.

it would make sense that it was done for the benefit of the worker in the pit, below the car.

Really, is there much difference between a 318 and a 340 as seen from under the car? I think they were even the same color most of the time.

The difference as seen from underneath might mean different suspension parts??
it was the engineers thinking about the power differences and the potential abuse of the 340 cars compared to the 318 cars, in my opinion, otherwise, they weigh the same
