Stop in for a cup of coffee

I pulled the AC relay and got a very small amount of barely warm air. Even on defrost there is still no warmth. I cut into the heater box behind the glove box with a dremel and can see the blend door opening and closing when I turn the control from AC to heat, but still no heat. I have looked and looked under the dash and under the hood for any type of control cable that would switch the AC to heat and I cannot find anything. Is this vacuumed controlled?????
Quick response and back to work,I checking in later:
Pens and pencils can get trapped between the blend door allowing it to not close fully. You might want to look at the blend door motor and see if it moves freely. I have seen a lot of these blend doors that are cracked and the motor cant move the door all the way hot or cold. Listen for a popping sound when adjusting the temp. This could be that the door is cracked. I would just remove the actuator and see if you can move the door from stop to stop. The door has a stick stick out of case and blend door actuator moves it back and forth ,try moving back and forth and you can hear thump when it hit either way fully then it is sealing fine...Still thing your blend door is broke though....
You can also get it to temp and feel inlet hose to heater core to see if it gets hot, then you know nothing wrong with the coolant system. Now feel outlet it should be same temp as inlet if not heater core is plugged...
